Along with the GROUND ZERO®-2 tee, the TOE-TAL® tee is the most popular high school tee. This 4-in-1 tee, introduced in the mid 1980s, provides 4 modes of use including two kicking tees & two kicking blocks. In Mode 1, with the rubber insert placed in the base with the ball-receiving recess facing up, it’s a 1″ kickoff tee. In Mode 2, with the rubber insert placed in the base with the ball-receiving recess facing down, it’s a 1 1/2″ field goal kicking block. In Mode 3, with the rubber insert placed directly on the ground or turf with the ball-receiving recess facing up, it’s a 1/4″ kicking tee. In Mode 4, with the rubber insert placed directly on the ground or turf with the ball-receiving recess facing down, it’s a 1″ kicking block. The TOE-TAL® tee includes several aesthetic features that tell consumers, especially kickers, that they have bought a tee from its singular source, Premium Products. Those features include its textured top and bottom surfaces made up of an array of contiguous 4-sided pyramid-shaped projections, its forward rectangular recess (seen in Modes 1 & 3) and its top peripheral surface (seen in Modes 1 & 2) that includes opposed straight sides converging to a point at the forward end.
