Premium Products, Inc.

Premium Products, Inc. was founded in 1985 by H. Jay Spiegel of Mount Vernon, VA to create, manufacture and distribute high quality products mainly in the field of sporting goods. Five of Mr. Spiegel's 45 patented inventions are football tees actively marketed by Premium Products, Inc. until 2016.

The GROUND ZERO-1 tee, the GROUND ZERO-2 tee, the GROUND ZERO ONSIDE® tee, the TOE-TAL® tee and the TRIPLEX STEALTH® tee (all patented) were all solely invented by H. Jay Spiegel and were distributed for Premium Products, Inc. by Champion Sports until 2016, when all rights to the tees were sold to Champion. Champion is the largest and finest distributor of high quality sporting goods in the United States, headquartered in Marlboro, NJ.

The GROUND ZERO-1 tee consists of a one-inch kickoff tee manufactured in the color black and which has been used by every NFL team for every NFL kickoff since 1999. This tee has also been used in every Super Bowl from Super Bowl XXX to date, in movies including "On Any Given Sunday" starring Al Pacino and the remake of "The Longest Yard" starring Adam Sandler, Burt Reynolds and others, and in advertising including an introductory piece preliminary to Super Bowl XXXIV featuring Tiger Woods and Kirk and Michael Douglas. It is often seen in the opening credits for Sunday Night Football on NBC.

The GROUND ZERO-2 tee is the two-inch version of the GROUND ZERO-1 tee and is only legal for high schools.

The TOE-TAL® tee is a four-in-one tee including two kickoff tees and two field goal blocks that are legal in high school play. The GROUND ZERO-2 and the TOE-TAL® tees are among the most popular high school tees.

The GROUND ZERO ONSIDE® tee was introduced in 2004. This new tee provided, for the first time, a notch allowing kickers to support the football with its tip on the ground for onside and squib kicks. It is the most popular college tee.

The green TRIPLEX STEALTH® tee was introduced in 2012 and is gaining in popularity and has been used by numerous top 20 Division 1 NCAA teams and others. High school use is rapidly rising.

GROUND ZERO, GROUND ZERO ONSIDE, TOE-TAL, TRIPLEX and STEALTH are registered trademarks now owned by Champion Sports.

Premium Products, Inc. is the owner of over three dozen patents and numerous Trademarks. The trademarks include aspects of trade dress covering source indicating features of the tees which inform the consuming public that the tees emanate from a single source, Champion Sports.

Placekickers have come to know, for over a quarter century, that kicking tees invented by H. Jay Spiegel are of the highest quality, are designed to optimize football support and are made to be aesthetically pleasing and durable.
